Fellowship

Coffee Hour

After the 10:30 service everyone is invited to the Parish Hall for a time of coffee or tea, refreshments, and fellowship. Members of the congregation sign-up to host this service.

Fellowship Events

The Epiphany family loves to come together for food and fellowship. Various breakfasts, church lunches, and cookouts take place over the course of the year. Our "Pot Luck" Suppers are cherished feasts in our common life.  Upcoming events are publicized in The Epiphany Star and the Sunday morning bulletin.

Groups & Organizations

Much of Epiphany's fellowship life happens in small groups. These settings provide an opportunity to get to know one another on a more intimate, personal level.  Besides providing fellowship many of Epiphany's groups also provide an important service either to the church or the community.  The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) has two active chapters, each one catering to a slightly different need within the parish family. An Adult Christian Education Class meets on Sunday mornings between services. The Book Club meets in member's homes.  The Sit-N-Stitch meet in the parlor several times a month. The retired men meet monthly on a Friday for a bag lunch and lively interaction. The Shrine Mont Committee meets regularly throughout the year at varying locations. The Men's Chapter 11 group meets for fellowship, prayer, conversation, and brainstorming what exciting thing they'll do next.

Shrine Mont Parish Retreat

Every fall, on the last weekend of October, the Parish family gathers at Shrine Mont - our diocesan conference center at Orkney Springs, VA. We come together for a wonderful weekend of fun, games, food, fellowship, spiritual growth, singing, and worship. Shrine Mont is open to all ages.
